Software security is not security software. Here we're concerned with topics like authentication, access control, confidentiality, cryptography, and privilege management.

AWS CloudFormation Misconfiguration: Weak SecretsManager Generated Password

Abstract
A configuration allows weak passwords.
Explanation
Authentication is an essential aspect of security. The authentication process's reliability depends on the login credentials' safety and strength. Password policies ensuring users create strong passwords are crucial to deploying secure websites. Password strength is a measure of the effectiveness it provides in resisting guessing and brute force attacks. Some parameters that help define password strength include password characteristics such as password length, complexity, and randomness.
