계: Input Validation and Representation

입력 검증 및 표현 문제는 메타 문자, 대체 인코딩 및 숫자 표현 때문에 발생합니다. 보안 문제는 입력을 신뢰하기 때문에 발생합니다. 문제로는 "Buffer Overflows", "Cross-Site Scripting" 공격, "SQL Injection", 그 외 여러 가지가 있습니다.

HTML5: Form Validation Turned Off

Abstract
입력 폼 필드의 HTML5 검증이 비활성화됩니다.
Explanation
HTML5는 단순한 입력 폼 검증을 수행할 수 있는 새로운 기능을 제공합니다. required 속성을 사용하여 입력 폼 필드가 필요한지 지정할 수 있습니다. 필드 유형을 지정하면 해당 유형에 대하여 입력이 확실히 검사됩니다. 정규식에 대하여 입력을 검사하는 사용자 지정 가능 pattern 속성까지 제공할 수 있습니다. 그러나 이 검증은 폼 태그의 novalidate 속성과 제출 입력 태그의 formnovalidate 속성 추가 시 비활성화됩니다.

검증이 비활성화된 HTML 폼은 사용자 친화적이지 않고 서버가 수많은 종류의 공격에 노출될 수 있습니다. 검증되지 않은 입력은 cross-site scripting, process control 및 SQL injection과 같은 취약점의 원인이 됩니다.
