代码质量不佳会导致不可预测的行为。对于用户来说,通常表现为可用性差。对于攻击者来说,提供了以意外方式对系统施加压力的机会。

Unreleased Resource: Cursor Snarfing

Abstract
该指针可能被权限较低的用户使用。
Explanation
该指针可能会被用来访问未经授权的信息。
资源泄露至少有两种常见的原因:

- 错误状况及其他异常情况。

- 未明确程序的哪一部份负责释放资源。

在 SQL 中,指针具有权限与创建它们的代码进行关联。如果泄漏的指针被不具备相应权限的用户捕获,则它可以被用来查看未经授权的记录。

此外,大部分 Unreleased Resource 问题只会导致一般的软件可靠性问题,但如果攻击者能够故意触发资源泄漏,该攻击者就有可能通过耗尽资源池的方式发起 denial of service 攻击。

示例 1:PWD_COMPARE 程序可被无权访问 sys.dba_users 的代码用来查看用户密码。

如果攻击者可引发异常,他们就可以捕获指针并访问未经授权的信息,例如 sys密码。造成异常的一种方式为将过长的参数传递到 p_user。在攻击者了解到指针已泄漏之后,他们仅需猜测指针并分配新的绑定变量。
